VASCULAR SURGERY

The Vascular Laboratory has at its disposal a bidirectional Doppler apparatus and with spectral analyser that allows the collection of arterial and venous graphs, segment pressure measurements and venous doppler study in extremities; two portable unidirectional Doppler apparatus that allow segment pressure measurements and studies of plethysmography with mercury rings (strain gauge) and permeability apparatus with valvular sufficience, and also studies of distal perfusion and segment pressure measurements in fingers. They also carry out Doppler permeability studies on penean ducts, and the measurement of the ankle/arm index.
